Great Place to stay
3 nights in a perfect location. Hotel is dated but well appointed. Good food. good bar facilities and handy to shops, port and the night life of Split. Our room was a suite so was excellent for our needs but a bit pricy for a 3 star hotel. The bells are part of the scenery and come in quite handy if you have an early flight out. Desk staff were helpful and gave good advice on local amenities. Free wifi provided by Split City does not work too well with a weak signal inside the hotel, but there is an Internet Cafe close by.

"Excellent location to port and railway station"
The hotel is in a great location if you are doing a cruise from the port, which we did. It is also only a 5-10 min walk to the train station and the area where the airport bus drops you off. I can also confirm that not all rooms have a window 2 metres off the ground. We spent 2 nights there pre/post our cruise and we had 2 different rooms, both which were clean and spacious. I will mention that the beds could do with upgrading as the matresses were very thin so not that comfortable and yes the bells did scare the hell out of me at 6am but I don't think it would matter where you were you would still here them. Overall, I had no problems with this hotel and would recommend it. *Handy Hints* Catch the Croatian Airlines airport bus from the airport when you arrive and it will cost 30Kuna (£3) and take about 30mins to get to the port area. For a great feed try the "F" Cafe which seems to cover alot of area along the strip. Go to the Pizzeria for a great pizza for only £4.
