it was great!
Me and my friends stayed in this hotel for a night in order to celebrate my friend's 30th birthday. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom was large which is not something I experience in most of the hotels. Breakfast was good and the hotel was central, walking distance to the city's main attractions. |

Good hotel with great location
I loved Madrid and Best Western Arosa Hotel! It has a sophisticated interior design welcomes you from the entrance, also it has a great location in the historical part of Madrid. Everywhere you would like to visit is in the vicinity of the hotel! The rooms are clean and freshly designed, the breakfast was delicious. What else can I expect from a good hotel? |

Very Central - Great Breakfast
The pre-amble to booking said that all rooms have street views. Mine however looked onto a dark inside triangle containing the kitchens. My single room was smaller than the bathroom, however it was comfortable tho' very hot and no air conditioning, (I know it was November, however it was still very warm for Brits!). As has been said before, the Reception Staff could have been more friendly and helpful and could certainly learn from the Concierge and Buffet Staff. The hotel is very well located tho' and the breakfasts are superb. Despite my comments I hope to stay again next year. |

"Best price, best location"
There is no problem here, this hotel is very centrally located, the staff are efficient, the rooms are nice, clean and the bathroom is perfect. We paid 96 Euro including breakfast and tax (that is for 2 persons!) booked through Bestwestern.
We had room 304, which even had a balcony. The aircondion worked fine and so did the in-room safe (free).
Yes the reception is on the second floor, and yes one of the elevators are rather funny, but who cares?
The breakfast is ok (when included in the price, 14 euro is a bit overpriced). Scrambled and boiled eggs, cheese, salami, ham and so on.
We would definetely stay here again, it is a real bargain.
I admit the attitude in the reception could be better, but anyway, they are quite efficient.
For a tapas go to Gambrinus nearby the hotel or to the Zahara at Gran Via also nearby.
