"Definately good for the price"
My fiance and I stayed at this hotel during our first trip to Paris. Compared to the rooms of our friends (at different hotels in the city) our room was large, our bathroom was HUGE and everything was very clean.
The staff was GREAT! They really tried to help us with directions, activites, and made our stay alot more pleasurable. Hotels.com messed up our reservation -didn't get our confirmation number to the hotel in time; the front desk agent called the states and cleared it up for us, and all with a smile!
The only drawback is that it was quite far from everything. Although the metro stop was only about a 5 minute walk (and you cross a great bakery with a very nice French owner, which we went to everday on our way out) the Metro stop closes a little early- 1:00 a.m. so not condusive to a night out. Also, when you are there you do not feel like your in Paris as it is so far from the center of the city.
BUT our main concern was safety, and we had no problems, the area seemed very safe, and we overall had a good stay.
