"An unexpected pleasure"
We came across Alfriston and Deans Place Hotel by accident on our way to Brighton! We pulled into the Deans Place Hotel on a very cold wet Saturday evening and checked into this "old worlde" hotel for the night. Our room had a 4 poster bed, low beamed roof etc and was really lovely. Breakfast could not be faulted. Although we did not eat dinner in the hotel as there were some inviting pubs in the village to be checked out, the menu looked great and the restaurant was busy. During the summer there is an outdoor pool and croquet lawn and large gardens.

"Brilliant Hotel"
It was a lovely hotel, the room wwas comfortable and the hotel clean and cosy. We loved the log fires and the cosy atmosphere.
