"Excellent Hotel"
Just got back from Amsterdam yesterday. We stayed at the Delphi Hotel and I have to say that I could not fault the hotel in anyway. The room was spotless, it was extremely clean. The breakfast was typical continental breakfast with plenty of supplies of everything. The service was excellent the staff were very helpful. We arrived 2 hours early for check in and were able to check in and we were able to store our luggage at the hotel before we left for the airport after checking out. The staff were great. The location is perfect. Just away from all the noise and crowds but a tram ride away from all the sights. The trams run all the time so you are never waiting for a tram and a taxi home late at night is between €10-€15. All in all excellent. Amsterdam is great.

"a very pleasant stay"
We stayed 4 days in Amsterdam at the Delphi Hotel. It was very pleasant. The room is nice and clean, the furniture is basic and cosy : thick curtains, smooth carpet. the bathroom is quite small but it's OK : a shower in a corner, toilets on the other side. The shower is closed with a curtain which would be ok if it would stop getting stuck to your body when it's wet and the water invade all the bathroom floor, I thought it was strange considering the standard of the hotel. The beakfast is nice and local (bread, jam, ham...). The hotel is located in a quiet and residential area (the rich one in fact), the street is very quiet and the tram stop is only at a 2-minute walk from the hotel, you reach the city center in 10 minutes. the hotel is conviently located to visit the Rijkmuseum and the van Gogh Museum, you can reach them by foot. At night you cannot find a restaurant, you have to go to the city center to eat french fries and pizzas and hamburgers...., if you want vegetable, you'll have to pay 25 € pp in a steak house (plenty of them everywhere). Considering the rate, it's good value for money
