"Nice Hotel"
Stayed there recently for 3 nites from 23 Oct. 2006. The hotel lift is the tiniest I have been in. The bedroom is clean and adequate in size. Mini bar and coffee making facilities are available. Check-in was fast and easy. Bathroom is clean with a bathtub and large in comparison to the room and lift. Arch de Trompe, Champs Elysees, the underground station are all within walking distance. Taxi fare to and fro the Gare du Nord station costs about 9 to 11 euro. There a few shops and eateries including McDonalds around the corner for food. Though hotel is nice would prefer to stay nearer to Champ Elysees.

"Bienvenue vers Paris!"
I stayed at the Empire Elysees for 4 days (3 nights). I was pleasantly surprised to find the room bigger than expected (I was a bit concerned from what I read about the size of Paris hotels). The room and washroom were clean. I stayed on the fifth floor and had a great view of the street (right above the hotel entrance). The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the Charles de Gaulle metro station. I found this quite convenient because you can access several different metro lines from this station. It is about 5 stops from the Louvre and 5 stops from the Eiffle Tower. The Charles de Gaulle station is basically right at the base of the Arc de Triomphe and at the very top of the Champs Elysees. Right outside the hotel entrance there is a Monoprix (has a grocery, drug store, sells pastries and beverages etc) and a bunch of little restaurants and fast food places. Right beside the hotel there is also a Naf Naf and a Mango(I think). There is also a pharmacy close by. I did not enquire about breakfast provided by the hotel but there are lots of patisseries and baguette places on the way to the metro. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and spoke english very well. They were able to provide me with directions to all the sites that I wanted to see. My only complaint is that at around 6am the garbage truck on the main street comes to pick up the garbage and is quite loud. This is only bothersome if you sleep with the window open otherwise the window does a good job of blocking out the noise from the street. I took lots of pictures to share so please take a look. Overall for the price I thought it was clean and in a good location. I would definately stay here again.

"Very Nice Small Hotel"
We stayed there for two nights and it was surprisingly great experience. For the price (I think the rack was 130 e but we paid less) it was much more than expected. The lobby, elevator and room are very tiny but the bathroom is good size and well appointed. It was pretty warm inside in the middle of the winter. The water pressure was very good. We didn't eat at the hotel, there are tons of great eateries around the corner. The hotel is just few blocks from the Arc de Triumph so the location is hard to beat.
