Nice Hotel
My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in late June '09. We were very pleased with the room which was spacious and had a balcony with a lovely view overlooking the lake. From the balcony it was enjoyable watching the boats as they stopped at the Montreux landing stage very close to the hotel. The hotel was also directly on the lakefront promenade and although there was a road behind it, this was a fairly quiet road and we found the location very peaceful. The only problem we experienced was with the hot water. On 2 of the 3 mornings we were forced to have a cold shower. The hotel claimed that they were having problems with the hot water system but I can't help thinking that perhaps the system was inadequate for the number of guests in the hotel. Nonetheless, I would be prepared to give the hotel another chance and would recommend it.
