"Fantastic Beausejour" This hotel is superb! Firstly if you arrive via the train it is directly opposite the station i.e. 1 minute walk, and a brisk ten minute walk to the attractions of Lourdes, if arriving by car it has its own free car park. There are hundreds of hotels in Lourdes but this must be one of its finest ,as the hotel and its accomadation are very smart, the rooms are very clean and well presented as well as all the other areas of the hotel, the staff are all very pleasant friendly and so helpful nothing is a problem! The meals in the restaurant are well worth a mention yet again they are a credit to the chef and the proprietor of the hotel who is so pleasant and helpful, if you are going to visit Lourdes dont bother to search through all the hotels go straight for the Best Western Hotel Beausejour,we stayed there July 2006 for four nights and enjoyed every minute of it.

"I liked the Best Western Hotel Beausejour Lourdes" The staff at this hotel is very helpfull and nice. The hotel is situated about 15 minutes walk to the Grotto area. To go to the grotto, you have to go throught the center of town; thus, you get a chance to mingle with the townspeople instead of being always with the tourist and pilgrim crowd. The restaurant in the hotel is quite good and from talking to the locals it is one of the best in the area (the other being "Margret"). They offer the area's specialty of "confrit de canard" and the lamb chops are really good. The hotel is conveniently situated accross from the train station, so if you are arriving by train from Paris, this is an ideal location.

"Nice simple hotel w/ great location" My parents and I stayed here one night only. We didn't have a reservation, and I worried that it was going to be pricey based on the niceness of the lobby. Well, the rack rate was only 92 euro for a comfortable, clean, decent-sized triple w/ bathtub (which we took) and 85 euro w/o the bathtub. We also had cable tv. The location is perfect. Lourdes is small enough that it makes sense to get a hotel by the train station - you minimize your walking with luggage (Lourdes is rather hilly) and the main sites are still only a 10 minute walk. The only downside is the meager continental breakfast which was 9 euro pp. This is the first European hotel of 2-3 star class I've encountered that charges extra for breakfast - BUT I don't know if this is the norm in Lourdes or France. But 9 euro for rolls, yogurt and cereal?? We ended up breakfasting at a hotel on the main tourist street (forget the name but it is the one that leads straight to the basilicas) for 4-5 euro pp for a baguette sandwich and drink. Still we had a very nice experience and I would stay here again - although I would check other hotels to see if they include breakfast! And a P.S. this hotel is a great deal for France, but I think other hotels in Lourdes charge similar rates.
