LOCATION
Best Western Hotel Bila Labut is perfectly located in Central Prague, approximately 1 kilometres (0,6 mile) from the Old Town Square, 1,2 kilometres (0,75 mile) from the Wenceslas Square and 1,5 kilometres (0,9 mile) from the Charles Bridge. The area includes many historic sights as well as restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.
Palladium which is one of the biggest and brand new shopping centres in Czech Republic is 5 minutes walking distance. Here you can find more than 200 shops and 30 restaurants and cafes. A few steps away from Palladium, you will have the opportunity to visit the Municipal House which was constructed between 1905 and 1912 while it is an important landmark in Art Nouveau style. A pleasant walk along Celetna street leads you to the Old Town Square.
In the middle of the Old Town Square stands the statue of Jan Hus who was a religious reformer lived during the 14th and 15th centuries. The square is sorrounded by monumental buildings such as the Church of Our Lady in front of Tyn, the St. Nicholas Church, Old Town Hall and Tower. The Astronomical Clock is mounted on one of the walls of the Old Town Hall.
To the north of the hotel, under the Hlavkov Bridge is the Czech Lawn Tennis Club, one of the venues for ATP Challenger and WTA Tour.
Bila Labut tram station is situated 100 metres (330 feet) away from Best Western Hotel Bila Labut. To reach the hotel from Prague Ruzyne Airport, you can take the bus no. 119 to Dejvicka, move about 3 minutes and take tram no. 8 from Vitezne Namesti to Bila Labut.

"Good hotel quiet location"
This is a very clean and comfortable hotel about 10-15 mins walk from the old town square.

"Superb weekend"
Well, we stayed at the Best Western Bila Labut for 2 nights. Staff were courteous, room was very clean and tidy, breakfast was superb. Located in a side street it's quiet but only 1 minute from a tram stop and 10 minutes walk into the middle of the old town.Prague was great, took in the premiere of Carmen at the state opera and listed to jazz over our evening meal.Public transport is a dream - easy and cheap. but the best is to get out and walk.Enjoy it.

"Great"
When i stayed in the best western hotel in December of 2005 i had a fantastic experience, the staff were freindly, curteous an& helpful.
I have read all of the other reveiws, and i think they must have stayed there a long time ago, as i think the hotel must have had a refurb.
The pictures & comments for this hotel from other people do not do it justice.
Just to give you an idea of what it was like, when we arrived the staff took our bags upto the room, they spoke perfect English & they were most helpful in arranging transport.
The room was clean and tidy, and cleaned every day by freindly cleaners.
Another thing that you may not be able to find out from the brocures is that it has a safe, and the doors are opened by a card. |
