"We loved this hotel"
My family (2 adults and 17 and 15 year olds) had a very pleasant stay at the hotel Kampa. We asked for and got a triple and a double adjoining rooms. The triple room was extremely spacious - plenty of room for the family to relax after a hard day's sight seeing. The breakfast was very good - plenty of choice, and live piano music every morning. The location is excellent - 5 mins walk from the Charles Bridge, but nice and quiet. We used the Prague airport shuttle company - and would recommend them.

"Perfect Base"
We stayed in the Hotel Kampa in Feb '06, and we are so glad we did. Hotel is in a perfect location for discovering this beautiful city. Our room (320) was of a good size, very clean and warm, which we appreciated as the temperature bearly crept above freezing point while we were there! The Receptionists spoke enough English to be of good assistance and dealt with any queries/questions with no problems at all. Hotel is a pleasant 10 minute river walk to the Charles Bridge and the Old Town and is directly in an area with some good cheap Bars and Restaurants. Petrin Hill is literally across the road and Prague Castle is also a pleasant 15 minute walk away. However, if you are not up to walking, there is a tram stop at the end of the street. We booked this hotel a few months before (on the Best Western web-site) and enjoyed a low rate of 80 euros per room per night inc. breakfast. If I was to visit Prague again, would I stay in this Hotel again?.....Yes definately!

"It's worth the trip to Prague"
March 24th, 2006 We just returned from 4 days in Prague as well as 4 days in Munich. Wow! Prague is definitely worth the effort! I heard that the food was terrible but we didn't find that at all. Many restaurant choices. Lot's of italian restaurants and pizza places. Great clubs & bars. My 20 & 16 yr. old sons say that "The Biggest Club in Europe" a 5 floor dance club "ROCKS"! We went with my son's hockey team, who used a tour company called ACIS out of the States. Our guide Adrien was amazing. He kept both the kids and the parents entertained at all times. The only thing is that the people in Prague are a little too serious. Maybe it's cause of being a communist country for so long. Hopefully the new generations will loosen up a bit. The Best Western Prague, Kampa is a clean well located 3* (according to Canadian standards) hotel. A good choice if your on a budget. The thing I can say about Munich is that it's so clean and organized. The shopping is great. The food was a little difficult for me. Too much stintzel. We stayed at the Best Western Atrium. Didn't like the location, but the hotel was also clean. The staff was really nice. All & all a great trip with lots of priceless memories.

"Fantastic time in Prague"
My husband and I spent four days in December in Prague, staying at Best Western Hotel Kampa. This was a surprise trip for my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I wrote to the hotel requesting a nice room overlooking the park and asked for a bottle of chamagne for us on arrival. I received a letter back from the hotel telling me that they would provide the champagne free of charge. My husband and I were very pleased with our room and found all of the staff very helpful. Breakfast is excellent and surroundings interesting, if a bit quirky. The hotel is in a great location being only a 5 minute walk from Charles Bridge. The bar/restuarant across from the hotel, "bar bar" serves excellent food and is also very cheap. There is lots to do and see in Prague and we wish we had had longer than 4 days. It was a lovely time of year to go, not being too busy, and lots of Christmas markets. We both had a fantastic break in Prague and plan to visit again soon.

"Nice place to stay"
We stayed at this hotel in April 2002 for 3 night. It was booked as a special offer deal. The first night my boyfriend stayed there alone because I was delayed for a day. I arrived the second day, and was pleasantly surprised with the room. It was a good size room with a huge bed, couple of chairs, table, dressing table and a bathroom. Everything was clean. Both nights we had dinner at their restaurant. The dining room has been done beautifully and the food and the service were excellent. When we were checking out, we were pleasantly surprised, because for the first night we were charged only as a single room (even that I booked it as a double, and it was my fault that I was delayed). Their full prices are quite steep but if I got again a special deal, we would definitely stay there again.
