LOCATION

Best Western Hotel Kinsky Garden is located in Smichov district of Prague, close to Mala Strana (Lesser Town) and the Old Town Square. The hotel is adcajent to beautiful Kinsky Garden which has an area of 21 hectares (52 acres). The garden was built in 1825 by Count Rudolf Kinsky who was a Czech patriot.

Some of the other touristic sights around the area are the lookout tower standing atop Petrin Hill; Hladova Zed, a medieval wall constructed between 1360 and 1362 and Detsky Island, where an allegorical statue of Vltava River stands.

On your way to Mala Strana, you may like to visit the Church of Our Lady Victorious, home of the renowned Infant Jesus Statue. Mala Strana is one of the Prague�s historical towns and it features plenty of churches, palaces and other historic buildings. The Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral are located near Mala Strana as well.

To the east of Mala Strana is the famous Charles Bridge which was built between 14th and 15th centuries. This monumental bridge connects Mala Strana to the Old Town of Prague.

To the south of the hotel is Andel area where numerous shops, cafes, bars and a large shopping centre called Novy Smichov are located.

The nearest public transportation link is Svandovo Divadlo tram station, located 100 metres away. To reach the hotel froom Prague Ruzyne Airport, you can take the bus to Motol and transfer here to tram to Svandovo Divadlo.
