"Great choice for a night stop"
Have just stayed 1 night en route between Banff and Vancouver. We had a room with 2 Queen beds in the main part of the hotel. I was apprehensive about booking a Best Western as we had previously stayed in one in New York that was very poor but chose this one after checking through the comments on Kelowna hotels on this site and comparing prices. We were not disappointed. Our room and bathroom were superb, virtually up to 5 star standard at 3 star prices. We had dinner in the on site restaurant which was also good value. The room rate included the continental breakfast and this was better than we had experienced elsewhere with a choice that at least included some fruit and hard boiled eggs (a change from all the carbohydrate normally offered in Canadian hotels). However it did appear that the hotel also has a couple of wings of more traditional motel type rooms which may not be to the same standard as the room we booked. As others have noted you need a car to get from the hotel to the lakeside or to any other restaurant but this did not bother us as we were only using the hotel as a very convenient night stop
