"Surprising Good!"
Came across this hotel on recommendation from a friend who had stayed during a conference.
It has a huge car park so we can leave the car and hop on a bus into the city- fast and cheap. After the sightseeing we ate in the bistro which is bright and airy with very good food . They had a special offer on wine- which helped!
Rooms were a good size with everything that you can need including Sky Sports for footie!
Leisure club had a huge pool as well as gym , a brand new sauna etc. A great way to spend Sunday morning.
Breakfast had a good range and had really friendly service. Everyone was VERY helpful throughout our stay.
Really good hotel if looking for easy access to the city without the noise at night. ( its only 5 minutes from the beach as well.)
Will go back!

"Excellent value for money"
Booked a two nights for the price of one through Best Western website - what a fantastic deal.
Hotel is immaculately clean and recently refurbished (the carpets still have their new smell). We were upgraded for free (maybe because I'm a BW gold card holder??) into one of the club rooms - large plasma TV, DVD, Sony playstation and large bathroom. Help yourself breakfast very nice, hot and cold, leisure facilities excellent and all staff very courteous and helpful. Didn't use the a la carte restaurant but the bistro meals were very good. Ample parking and only a 10 minute walk to the train station which is then a 6 minute journey into Edinburgh itself. (£10 taxi back again at night)
Recommended and would use again.

"Perfect place to stay!!"
My boyfriend and I stayed three nights in order to visit Edinburgh city for a weekend break. The hotel was lovely, clean and the staff were friendly. We booked room only however on arrival were told we could have breakfast at half price! The food was good, lots of choice. There is a bus service outside the hotel which runs every 10 minutes into the city centre. It takes about 30minutes and costs £1.00 no matter of the distance. It would be one pound for 2 or 20 stops! I would definatly recommend this hotel and would stay again any time.

"Good Value"
Good Value at "great rates" Fairly basic, but nice leasure facilities, staff very friendly, convenient for edinburgh by train, bus, car, Food in cafe good, breakfast bit ropey. Room was nice - 3 bed family room basic, but spacious, clean, bright open outlook. Would recommend at price. |
