"great place" After getting ridiculously overcharged by my Taxi driver - be careful in Prague!, we arrived at the interesting Movenpick. We walked into the main Lobby to check in - and they told us that we were up in the executive section(even though i paid 80 dollars on priceline). well - we took the funicular up - and got great treatment! great room - wonderful and romantic restaurant, ahd free use of the One computer(still free and convenient!) As has been noted by others - you have to take the tram or Metro - both Andel, pronounced Angel. This was a run down neighborhood ten years ago - and it has been totally re-vitalized. Tons of bars and restaurnats and a swanky new shopping mall,right at the metro/tram stop. Only ten minutes by tram,8 minutes by subway to the center of town and easy to use. obviosly, it's easier if you're staying in the old town - but for the price and the nice ammenties make it a great choice!

"Stay in the executive wing." This hotel is not in a central location but about a 5 mins. walk to the metro. You need to take a cable car up to the executive wing. They have free internet access in the business center. You pay an arm and half a leg for internet in your room. The hotel offers parking for $30 euros a night. OUCH! Breakfast was included in my rate and worth it to sit on the patio on the mountain overlooking the city every morning. The hotel staff was pretty helpful and friendly, except for the woman who ran the gift shop. Prague is an absouletly beautiful city.

"Best Best Western" Great Hotel right in the Downtown core. Clean Environment. Helpful staff at the Front Desk and a good reception. Great Rooms. Probably the "BEST" Best Western I have ever stayed at.
