The guests rooms are filled with surprising and unexpected details. All of these rooms have a full range of modern amenities and comforts. "Lovely hamsterjam"
A lovely, welcoming hotel, we thought the staff were really friendly and helpful. It's near the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum but about a 25 min walk into the centre of town. Don't let this put you off, once you get your head round the tram system it's really easy to get around. The hotel spa is great, well worth giving it a go!

"Very pleased with this great boutique hotel"
I have nothing but good things to say about the Bilderberg! We spent four nights here in early-January and can’t fault the hotel for anything. We were invited to inspect the rooms before committing to stay in one, and it was based on this that we decided to upgrade to a superior room (a little pricey at 35E/night, but worth it to go from a double to a king bed, and much more space in the bathroom). We were in room 411 for one night (twin beds pushed together) and 311 for the next three nights (king bed). During our stay, they upgraded to brand new bedding, including down comforters and pillows. There was turn-down service every night, and green apples were left for us. Lots of amenities in the room: nice toiletries, an ironing board, CD player (with CDs to loan), large desk with office supplies, arm chairs, and a closet with shelves.
The service is where this hotel really shines, though: everyone from housekeeping to reception (especially Karin at the front desk) was absolutely fantastic. They couldn’t have been any more helpful. They willingly, cheerfully doled out extra towels, maps and directions, and restaurant recommendations. Several times we were asked if there were any questions they could answer.
Minor quibble: Internet access is provided through a third-party, and is quite pricey at 17E/day. However, it was wireless, and the signal and speed were quite good.
Location is good; right next to the Van Gogh and Rijks Museums, and one street away from the Rodeo Drive of Amsterdam, complete with Chanel, Gucci, among many others. Also within easy walking distance of the touristy but interesting Leidseplein Square. The hotel itself is on a leafy, quiet street. We heard almost no street or hotel noise during our stay.
Note that if you arrive from the Central Station and opt to take a taxi, you shouldn’t pay more than 20E for the ride. Don’t be afraid to negotiate this with the driver—it should honestly be more like 10-15E. From the airport, we were told 35E was the maximum we should pay, but we took a shuttle that was arranged ahead of time.
I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending the hotel to friends.

"Couldn't fault it"
Found this hotel online and booked it after checking the reviews on trip advisor.
We booked online and got a cheap rate but took advice of the reviews and upgraded to a superior room.
The hotel replied promptly to our E-mail in perfect English and everything was sorted out with no hassel.
The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We arrived early at 10 am and the room was ready to check in to despite the advised time of 3 pm.
We didn't eat in the hotel or use the spa but we did use the bar a couple of times. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The location is good, just far enough to avoid the noise of the city center but within easy walking distance of the bars, shops and restaurants.
Close to the tram stops. Get the 5 from the station. The taxis are overpriced and take you on a city tour whether you want one or not.
Would definately stay here again
