LOCATION

Hotel Cerna Liska (Black Fox) is located exactly in the heart of Prague, adjacent to the Old Town Square (Stare Mesto). Thanks to its situation, you will have the opportunity to explore Prague’s historic city centre on foot. The area boasts numerous shopping, dining and entertainment facilities as well.

Hotel Cerna Liska (Black Fox) faces the St. Nicholas Church which is a Baroque church decorated with sculptures and was completed in 1735. The other monumental buildings standing on the Old Town Square are the Church of Our Lady in Front of Tyn which dates back to the 14th century amd the Old Town Hall. The Astronomical Clock which is also a popular tourist attraction, is mounted on the Old Town Hall Tower.

Wenceslas Square which is the commercial centre of the New Town, is five minutes’ walking distance to the hotel. The square is well-known with its shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. If you walk towards the Prague National Museum and Prague State Opera, you will see a huge statue St. Venceslas who lived in the 10th century and was the duke of Bohemia.

A stroll north from the Old Town Square leads you to Svatopluk Bridge. On the way you may like to visit the Maisel Synagogue, the Jewish Town Hall, the High Synagogue and the Old New Synagogue.

To the west of the Old Town Square is the Charles Bridge which connects Old Town and Lesser Town (Mala Strana). By passing across the Vltava River, you can reach the Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral.

The closest public transportation link is Staromestska tram station. To reach the hotel from Prague Ruzyne Airport, you can take the Airport Express to Dejvicka and transfer here to metro line A to Staromestska. It takes approximately half an hour to arrive at the hotel from the Ruzyne Airport.
