Boat Hotel at Boat of Garten is a privately-owned Victorian sporting hotel set in the heart of the Spey Valley. Personally run, warm hospitality and confortable rooms assure you of a relaxing stay. Originally built in Victorian times as the Station hotel for the prestigious Strathspey Steam Railway, the Boat Hotel while retaining many original architectural features provides all the modern comforts demanded by todays guests.

The hotel is an experience in itself, as much as a place from which to enjoy fabulous surroundings. It is this careful judgment that has created a kaleidoscope of complete customer experiences only limited by your imagination and your zest for life and escape.

* The restaurant at the Boat, aptly named the Capercaillie is discreetly stylish, but with an intimate and restful atmosphere. There is always a clear place for traditional Scottish dishes on our menus but Executive Chef Tony Allcott likes to innovate and with his great classically gained experience is not afraid to experiment. But the traditions of Scottish cuisine using the freshest of local produce still remain.
