"a quiet retreat " Bonanza Palace Hotel Tenerife food,service and location were very good.People at reception were kind and very helpful.The room was enormous and very clean as well as being well appointed.Breakfasts were especially good.The evening meal was buffet style with a ggd choice.All in all i would recommend this hotel for people who are seeking a quiet retreat with good service.

"Enjoyed my stay" General: The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Location is good although parking is mainly on street as the hotel car park is quite small. Room: My room was comfortable and well equipped. It was clean and quiet, despite being on the ground floor to the front. Restaurant: This is situated in the adjoining Canarife hotel (in the same chain) The food in the restaurant is very good quality and there is plenty of it. Sometimes the selection was a little unusual. The only downside is that it is all buffet style self service which does not give the four star experience. Bar: A very nice bar, with entertainment in the evenings. Friendly. Pool: Not used, but appeared clean and welcoming. Location: The hotel is sited just to the North of Puerto de la Cruz centre but has a good selection of restaurants, bars and shops locally. Parking is limited in the car park but there is plenty of on street parking in the area. A hire car is recommended if you want to explore further afield. I tried Teide and Loro Parque and enjoyed both. Summary: Recommended - but not if you want waiter service for your meals.
