Pension Bonaparte occupies a recently renovated 19th century building located in Smichov district, close to the historic centre of Prague. The hotel offers 11 rooms and 6 suites, all of which are well-equipped with modern facilities. One of the biggest shopping malls in Prague, Novy Smichov and two multiplex cinemas are in close proximity to Pension Bonaparte. Another remarkable sight is a villa called Bertramka where Wolfagang Amadeus Mozart stayed during his visit to Prague in 1787.
If you pass across the river through the Jiroslav Bridge, you can see the Dancing House on the right side which is a popular building with its interesting architecture and its French restaurant on the roof with a magnificent view of the city skyline. Just a short walk away from the Dancing House you can visit the Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Cyril and Methodius built in the 18th century. By following the way to the east you can reach the Charles Square which is the largest medieval town square in Europe.
The way to the north from the Charles Square will lead you to the Wenceslas Square, the commercial centre of the New Town. The National Museum and the Prague State Opera are situated here as well.
The Old Town Square is five minutes’ walking distance to the Wenceslas Square and here is sorrounded with monumental buildings. Here you can visit the Old Town Hall and Tower, the Tyn Cathedral, St. Nicholas Church and the Astronomical Clock.
Pension Bonaparte is near the Na Knizeci tram station. It takes about ten minutes to reach the city centre by tram. One of the main bus terminals of Prague is close to the hotel as well. As you arrive at the Prague Ruzyne Airport, you can take the bus.
