Fabulous
Fantastic hotel, the most relaxing we have been to for a long time. Service was excellent. We enjoyed it so much we cut short our stay in Assissi to back for another night at this hotel. |

"Excellent"
To start with, we had never been to Florence and we were looking for a good deal for a nice hotel. And with the Granducato we got a very good deal. The staff were helpful and friendly even put some extras in our room. The pool was lovely and the room was fantastic for the price. Restaurant is pricey but still very good. Basically the hotel was great. We knew the hotel according to it's website was 10 minutes from the city center so we thought it would be a good thing to be outside the city in the busy tourist season.I would come back |

The Granducato Hotel is located outside of Florence Italy by 15 minutes.
This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in.
The staff was very friendly and spoke perfect English. The rooms were big, clean, modern with all the amenities a traveler might need.
Huge bathtubs and standing showers, cable TV with more channels than CNN.
The hotel is part of the Boscolo Hotel chain. Now, whenever I travel
to Italy, I make sure I stay in one of their hotels.
It is worth the taxi money spent to get to and from the center of Florence to come back at night and relax in the quiet, totally refurbished luxury farmhouse that is The Granducato.
