"A good reasonably priced hotel" The hotel's greatest asset is its location - ideal for Down Town. The free car parking is a good advantage. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom was adequate in size. The air con unit was slighlty noisy but you can live with that, especially in Vancouver where it isn't essential to have. The outside of the hotel, especially from the car park does look a bit run-down but don't dismiss this place on that - it isn't the case in the rooms.

"Cheap, cheerful and friendly" We stayed here for 1 night in September 2004. We booked over the phone and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel is pretty basic, functional and clean which is what we were after. The room was clean and comfortable but it was at the front of the building which was a bit noisy when the window was open, but hey, it's in the middle of the city so what can you expect! The front desk staff were great and helped us with directions, maps and places to go. It was very central and perfect for exploring the city. We really liked the no frills friendly feel of the place, but I can imagine it may not be for everyone. We would happily stay there again.

"Great value" I found this hotel to be a great value. We were two friends travelling to Vancouver on a limited budget and we stayed here for a few reasons..1) cheap rate 2) free parking 3) location 1) The hotel cost us $120/night + tax. In downtown Vancouver that is a great deal! The rooms were clean and comfy, the staff was polite and helpful. 2) Parking in downtown Vancouver is EXPENSIVE...most other hotels charge $10-25/day the parking was secure, we could see it from our room we never had a problem with our car....property crime (especially on out of town cars) is a major problem in Vancouver. 3) We were close to every major attraction, the shopping district and public transportation. We walked everywhere we could (all of downtown, even to the beach!) If you are on a budget, stay at this place.......if you would rather spend your money on stuff to do and restaurants and shopping than on a room you only sleep in stay here! Good value for money in an expensive city.
