"Christmas a real treat"
Having read the reviews for the Buchanan we were very worried as we had booked with two other best friends to spend our first Christmas away in 40 years. But our worries were completely unfounded.
Kevin and his Staff could not have done more for us to ensure we all had a brilliant time. The food was excellent throughout with multiple choices for each course at every meal. The rooms were clean, tidy, warm and very comfortable. The entertainment was very good especially the Scottish Band on Boxing Night. We would also like to point out their attention to security which was first class. For retail therapy the good choice of shops is just across the road!! We would recommend this Hotel without reservation and hopefully stay there again sometime in the future. Many thanks to all, Mrs & Mrs J Harper and Mr & Mrs P Davies.

"Cannot beat the location"
Stayed at the Buchanan few weeks ago. Little wary at first, as usually stay in big hotels and this is a very small hotel. Parked at a multi storey minutes walk away. Good value parking as given a discount due to staying at Buchanan. Hotel such a friendly place. Felt like a little 'family business' and made to feel very much at home. Literally, 2 minutes to shopping centres which was what I was there for!! Partner there for conference at Exhibition centre and again no problem with transport to and fro. Breakfast great and dinner menu extremely good value, altho we did not have time to eat due to conference dinners etc. Great value hotel. Well worth a visit.

"Nice hotel, perfect location"
Incredible location right in the city centre, clean room and bathroom, comfortable, clean bed, wonderful food. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sound of trains going underground was too soft to disturb me although am easily disturbed by noises. I do recommend Buchanan Hotel anyone wanting to stay close to the sights and shopping. Anyone seeking the peace and silence of countryside would be happier elsewhere.
