"very pleased!"
along with hotel reservations, we also booked for a van to pick us up at the phuket airport thru the hotel. we were greeted at curbside of the airport by our driver. once we set foot into the hotel, staff members immediately greeted us and asked us to relax in the lobby seating area while they checked us in. they even brought us chilled fruit juice while we were waiting. we had poolview rooms on the second floor, and it was perfect. rooms were clean and tidy. for the cost, i thought it was excellent. patong is a very busy, happening area, but burasari allows to escape from the madness. it's well located, only half a block from the beach. if you're staying in patong, i'd highly recommend burasari. we thought the hotel was wonderful, but weren't huge fans of patong. after one night, we headed straight for the phi phi islands and never looked back.

"Overall, good."
I stayed at Burasari for 3 nights in July 2007. Overall, I found my stay quite pleasant. The hotel grounds were fairly nice and appeared more traditional than many of the other hotels in the area. The room (in the new wing) was very modern -- modern furniture, flat screen tv -- and came with a free mini bar, beer soft drinks snacks. The only two complaints I would have is the temperature of the pool water -- cold -- and the hit and miss service. As it relates to service, the staff at the front sometimes seem unconcerned with questions or issues.

"Great Hotel"
We stayed at Burasari for 5 nights having booked the accommodation online direct with the hotel. The package we booked included a limosine pick up at the airport and return which was very unexpected. It also included a complimentary dinner at Floyds. There were no issues with the reservation given we had no contact with them other than one email online.
The staff were very friendly and we could not fault them in anyway.
We stayed in a Deluxe Pool View Room on the second floor with a day bed on the balcony which was just fantastic. There was nothing nicer than sitting out there in the afternoon after a day of sight seeing to relax. The pool area was fantastic and we never had any problems getting a lounge. They even serve you food and drinks at the lounges or there is a swim up pool bar with great cocktails.
The location of the Hotel is great. Its about a minute walk to the beach and about a 10 minute walk to Bangala Road where all the main action is. As a result you feel like you can get away from the madness of Patong Beach, yet have it at your fingertips if you wish.
The only negative about the Hotel was the musty smell in the room when we first walked in. After 5 days though, you do get used to it and all the other positives to the Hotel certainly outweighed that one negative.
Would definately recommend the Hotel. And it was a great price.
