Ca' Dei Conti Hotel is in the heart of Venice, on a striking corner which is typical of the city. Ca' dei Conti offers you that once in a lifetime experience of staying in an age-old Venetian residence. Each detail was attentively studied to bring to life a harmonious atmosphere, where it is a pleasure to take some time out to relax.
The typically Venetian atmosphere creates a perfect setting between the hotel and the city: for this reason, Ca' dei Conti is an ideal location to spend your evening. The rooms in Ca' dei Conti are full of XVIII century charm, without giving up modern day comforts. Three colours dominate, blue, green and gold: in the shades of the embroidered fabric on the walls, the padded headboards, the bed covers and the soft carpet. The furniture is eighteenth-century Venetian style, with precious oriental rugs and chandeliers in Murano glass, all harmoniously combined with the comforts of a four-star hotel. |

"Excellent! Unbelievable value!"
My boyfriend and I stayed here in March 2005. I cannot describe how impressed I was with this hotel--I have never experienced a better value for the money! The rooms were not that expensive at all, and I felt like I was walking into a palace! This is by far the best place I have ever stayed in in Italy. The hotel itself and the rooms were beautiful (we were told we got one of the best rooms), the staff was extremely friendly, and it couldn't have been in a more convenient location--right behind San Marcos square. Even the breakfast was the best I had seen in Italy. The room was really big, the bathroom had a tub, and also a good hair dryer. Lots of very nice touches and detail all around. We didn't want to leave! It is situated on a cute little canal tucked away--very romantic, but hard to find!! If I ever go back to Venice, I will definitely stay here. Unlike some hotels in Rome that give your specific room away even when you book months ahead of time, this hotel must have reserved us one of the best--and kept it--when we booked 2 months ahead. Highly recommended.

"Fantastic Hotel in Great Location"
This was a great hotel for a very good price (£70 per night).
The staff were very helpful and always willing to give extra assistance and advice.
The room we were given was excellent, on the 3rd and top floor with beautiful wooden beams accross the roof. It was much better than we expected given the price.
Very romantic with little bridge over the canal to reach the hotel. Was situated in a lovely quite area with only a 5 minute walk to both St Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge. Given the map from the hotels website it was fairly easy to find and only a few minutes from the ferry stop on the Grand Canal.
Highly recommended and if we were ever to visit Venice again i would certainly stay here again.
The perfect stay to the perfect trip.

"Excellent"
For about £100 a night per room - we were very impressed by this hotel and the helpfulness of the reception staff. Rooms large and very clean, bathroom small (only shower cubicle, no bath) but all the essentials. Breakfast is continental, so don't except a fry-up. Good location for main sights. Would definitely recommend. Good 4 star. (We were on top floor, try to avoid being put in the ground floor rooms which lead off the breakfast room).

"A little piece of heaven"
We have just returned from a weekend at the Ca' dei Conti and it certainly met our expectations. We booked it on the basis of reviews we'd read here and we're so glad we did. It's set in a quiet backwater only 5 minutes from the Grand Canal and is so pretty. Our room was on the top floor with beams and tastefully decorated in gold and red. "Welcome to the 18th century" is how the hotel is marketed, and how true this is! Everything was well appointed and catered for our every need. They even supplied slippers, bathrobes and body lotion in the lovely bathroom. As previous guests have said, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good to say it's only "continental" with croissants, fruit, bread rolls, cereals and yoghurt. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a tasteful, classy little hotel with a touch of luxury away from the bustling crowds. One word of caution though, nothing to do with the hotel, but beware complimentary trips to Murano. You get taken by water taxi which is all very nice, but are given the hard sell once you've seen the glass blowing demonstration at the factory. It was pretty embarassing refusing to buy things but we managed to get away and bought our Murano from a reputable little shop in Venice for a quarter of the price. All in all a wonderful trip! We would definitely go back to this hotel again.
