LOCATION
Just 500mtrs uphill from the hotel you will find the beautiful and hospitable village of Gerani.
200mtrs downhill from the hotel is the famous Camari Gorge with its legendary well, cave and crystal clear waters, ideal for diving or fishing. The rocky cove is under construction to turn out to be a sandy beach.
To the west of Camari Garden, less than 4 km away, the majestic beaches of Petres and Episkopi, stretches in a wide strip of almost 10km of fine, soft sand. The most ideal place for swimming and sunbathing in Crete.
6 kilometres away from Rethymnon,10 minutes from the town centre by bus or car.
Transportation to Rethymnon is very easy, using the bus which runs every hour and stops just 150mtrs from the hotel. The bus also stops three times a day in front of it. If the bus doesn't appeal to you, why not take a taxi

have stayed at camari 3 times. although about 5 mins in taxi out of rethymnon, you couldn't find better or cleaner apartments with the scenic views for the price. angela, george,nikos,alex + co are the nicest people you will ever meet, nothing is to much trouble for them.
i am hoping to go back in 2009 as my eldest daughter is thinking of getting married out there. |
