"Campanile Manchester: clean, efficient, no-frills"
For my party's needs -- twin beds, clean, low price -- the Campanile Manchester fit the bill perfectly. The rooms are a bit Spartan but spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable, the bathroom is large and quite modern. The desk staff were friendly; check-in and check-out quick and efficient; breakfast in the large restaurant provided much variety. The room contained a television with cable channels and internet access; no mini-bar. The motel is located in a strip-mall in the Manchester suburb of Salford, a short cab ride from the train station and a slightly longer ride from the airport. I found the motel a very attractive alternative in terms of price and quality to the airport hotels, and would choose it again for a business trip.

This is a nice place to stay, staff were French and friendly. Thought this hotel had a nice ambience and nice cosy rooms- good for the price! i would defo stay here again! Also very central for everything e.g. city center and Old Trafford.

"Budget accommodation doesn't have to be faceless"
So, so much better than Travel Inn or Travelodge.... A budget hotel with consistent quality, charm and ambience.Everything you need in situ (a benefit in Salford !) a nice small bar combines with a simple restaurant serving decent meals at realistic prices. Only the French can pull off this simple welcoming atmosphere so effortlessly.Clean, comfortable room, friendly helpful staff (couldn't disagree more with the other writer) and an excellent breakfast.The competition ? Either 3 times as much for the same quality or stay in a faceless chain motel on a motorway car park area and eat in a transport cafe.No thanks.
