"Great Hotel Great Price" Paid 37 USD for a night for all the amenities you would expect - a/c, clean bed, large room, clean and nice toilet and bath, friendly staff...bfast is not incl however for 6.80 Euros it was good. Opposite to train station Part Dieu and Lyon Metro so very convenient...all in all, excellent hotel.

"Excellent value" Modern building in very central location across the road from the station/metro but in quiet area. Booked through easyjet for 2 adults one child at a cost of £135 gbp for 3 nights with buffet breakfast included. Fantastic value. Bus drop off point from airport is on the main street outside train station. Walk across the pedestrian square, through the station and out the other side and the hotel is in front of you as you pass through another bus station and car park. Very pleasant modern reception area and dining room. During our stay it was well used by local businesses ( a good sign I thought) during the day for small conferences/meetings but we hardly noticed them. Our room was on the small side but typical for a budget hotel. Room for double bed and single bed and two suitcases and that was about it. But for the price who can complain? Toilet/shower were in excellent order. Very pleasant restaurant for evening meal but you can eat out more cheaply. Compared to a bustling UK rail station there were few sign of the seedier side of life. Anyone looking for late nights is in the wrong place since everything in the area seemed to be shut by 10pm. Not luxury by any means but more than worth the money.

"Great value for money" One night stay en-route to Italy so I chose a two star for economy and had realistic expectations. These were impressively exceeded by this hotel. A brisk and efficient reception meant that check-in was painless. The room was well designed with a small inner lobby so there were two doors between the bedroom and the corridor. Everything was clean and the place was quiet. Surprised to find tea and coffee making facilities and also a hairdryer. The breakfast was good and this place helped get a good holiday off to a flying start. A better advert for the Campanile chain can hardly be envisaged!
