LOCATION
Hotel Capri is conveniently located in Prague city centre, close to the Old Town Square and the Wenceslas Square. There are plenty of bars, shops, cafes and restaurants in the vicinty of the hotel.
One of the remarkable attractions around the area is Letna Park where you can enjoy wonderful views of the Old Town. Another remarkable spot is the National Technical Museum of Prague, 5 minutes walking distance from Hotel Capri. Close to north there are the T-Mobile Arena, the Prague Exhibition Ground and the Sea World, the biggest aquarium in Czech Republic. AXA Arena, the home stadium of Sparta Prague Football Club is also within ten minutes walking distance of Hotel Capri.
A pleasant stroll accross the Vltava River leads you to the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square. The Old Town Square features breathtaking buildings such as the Old Town Hall, St. Nicholas Church and the Church of Our Lady in front of Tyn. After your sightseeing in Old Town, you can head towards the New Town where Wenceslas Square, the National Museum and Prague State Opera are situated. Wenceslas Square is the commercial centre of the New Town and it features numerous shopping, dining and entertainment facilities.

"Nice budget hotel"
We stayed here for two nights. We were looking for a place to lay our heads at the end of rather eventfull walking/sightseeing holiday. This fit the bill perfectly. Low cost and just a place to sleep. The rooms were clean, warm and we didn't find them especially noisy at all. But we were so tired I don't think we'd have heard a thing. Breakfast was set up each morning and catered for all tastes. Even my 7 year old loved it and he's picky. We needed two rooms for this stay. One happened to be on the 3rd floor and the other on the 2nd. I'd be happy to stay here again on our next trip to Prague. It was quite easy to get to all the places we wanted to see from this location as well. Just a tram ride away. Also be sure to visit the small shops and bakery in this area. Some real bargains to be had. Don't miss the Pizza/Italian place joined to this hotel is a nice spot to eat after a tired day.

Good Hotel
We stayed three nights in this hotel. The room was clean, big and comfortable. It was a little noisy outside. It's a little outside of downtown Prague, but a quick tram ride gets you were you want to go, and overall, we liked the hotel. I would recommend it. |
