"The hotel has a friendly staff"
We stayed at Carlton Hotel Guldsmeden for 2 nigths. The hotel has a friendly staff, good location but reception area a bit too small.

"quiet"
Carlton Hotel Guldsmeden staff was friendly, the breakfast was excellent and the room was simple but pleasant enough. And quiet.

"Comfie and cozy"
This hotel was very comfortable and convenient as a base to begin our exploration of Denmark. When we arrived, they had a place to store our luggage and even shower after a long trans-Atlantic flight. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, though the bed and pillows were disappointing. The bathroom was great, and the toiletries were delightful. We walked just about everywhere in Copenhagen from this location easily, and the central train station is only a few blocks away. Plus, the breakfasts were awesome. We stuffed ourselves every day and didn't eat again until dinner (unless we count the numerous danishes we consumed walking around......)

"Loved it!"
I loved this hotel, it was as good, it not better, than I expected, which is unusual. We booked a room with balcony and bath based on some of the reviews on here saying some rooms were a little small with no bath. The room was stunning. Really simply decorated but with lovely touches. The dark wood four poster bed was great, and very very comfortable. The bathroom had heated flooring and a roll top, claw-footed bath with separate shower. The hotel had a lovely, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were dressed casually in their own clothes which added to the relaxed feel, and all seemed to chip in together with serving breakfast, reception etc. The 'restaurant' is in the reception area, with cosy tables and unusual chairs. Breakfast was as good as everyone else has said, really good variety and all organic. This is definitely more of a 'boutique' hotel so for those looking for a full-service multinational chain with no soul, this will not suit you. But if you want somewhere different, welcoming and stylish, its perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

"Hotel Heaven in Copenhagen"
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of January and felt we had to write about this stylish and comfortable hotel. We had never been to Copenhagen before, we caught the train from the airport to Copenhagen central station, the hotel is around a 10 minute walk up Vesterbrogade in the direction away from the Rahudspladen (Big square) and was very straight forward and simple to find.
After one flight of stairs we found the cosy reception area and received the warmest welcome we've ever experianced from a hotel, the lady put us at ease, made us welcome and was very enthusiastic about her job. We were thrilled to find this was not a one off, all the staff are like this, they really seem to care that you're having a good time.
Once in the room we fell in love with our four poster bed, which although wasn't in the largest room didn't look cramped due to the high ceilings. The bathroom was clean and well equipped with the heated tile floor being very welcome.
We were invited down for a complimentary drink once we'd settled in which we enjoyed in the lounge whilst admiring some excellant artwork, the intricate wood carving getting most of our attention. The receptionist come barmaid gave us some handy hints in pronunciation and some good restaurant tips.
A hearty organic breakfast is served in the lounge with some tasty cheeses and meats, I'd recommend the vanilla yoghurt though with some honey soaked almonds.
The hotels location is great, we never used the metro or bus once as everything is an easy walk, Rahudspladen and Stroget being just a 15-20 min walk away. There's also a couple of nice bars nearby, BarBar Bar being our favourite and the takeaway pizza place across the road may not be much to look at but does a great Mexican pizza at a very reasonable 85dkr. If you do venture out for a meal you can't do better than Peder Oxe Restaurant near Stoget for a fantastic meal.
Copenhagen is a great and truly "wonderful" city, and this hotel has to be one of the best places to stay while you enjoy it. Top marks!
