"Romantic Break" My girlfriend (28) and I (27) had a wonderful trip to Prague which was made all the more enjoyable by the lovely Carlton Hotel. The rooms were perfect; spacious and clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the location was great- just 5 mins on the tram to the centre of Prague. We would most definately recommend this hotel to anyone of any age. There is a great bar 2 mins away which serve amazingly cheap beers and bar snacks- great for the first night if you want to stay local to the hotel and find your bearings! Turn right out of the hotel, then first left. Cant remember its name, but ask reception and they will know!

"I liked this hotel" If you like a hotel that is very quiet at night this is a great choice. Nice size rooms that are kept very clean. Staff helpful and friendly. It is not in the center of town but it is very close to public transportation (buses, trains) that will take you anywhere you want to go. Example: it took less than 30 min taking two buses to get to the Castle. There is also a wonderful restaurant/bar called the Cool Restaurant located one block away that is definitely worth trying.

"friendly staff" Went to the Hotel Carlton with two other friends (females). 10 March 2006. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are spotless the shower is very powerful . The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly. I did not think much of the breakfast for a four star hotel. I would rate it a three star because a four star in England is of higher quality. The tram stops about 150 yards around the corner from the hotel which made this a great place to stay just outside the city. The area surrounding the hotel is a little run down but don't let this put you off, we felt very safe walking to the local bar for something to eat.

friendly and clean excellent Hotel, Staff helpful. Tram no 9 just outside goes direct into prague city centre takes about 10 mins max. Excellent value for money .. our room was top floor with roof windows. Very nice decor and romm average size. Good facilities in room (Tea and Coffee etc) felt really homely. Breakfast was plentiful and food superb and fresh. Would come back again and again!!

great hotel the staff were very helpful, the breakfast choice of food was wonderful, and to top it all off it snowed for most of our 4 day stay. Prague is a beautiful city, and after a long day's walking it was nice to come back to a comfortable hotel. The No.9 tram stops a few yards away from the hotel and will take you right to the centre of Prague in about 10 mins. or less. When I next return to Prague I will be staying at The Carlton.

Wonderful The hotel was excellent. Tram stop was right next to the hotel which meant only 4 stops to wenceslas square which took 5 minutes. I found the staff very friendly and helpfull. It was a very comfortable stay. The bath was a godsend. I would recommend it to all.
