"Very nive - Good Value"
Recommend. Very nice. Clean. Convenient to Metro. Safe neighborhood. Helpful staff. 2 elevators. We stayed 2 nights in mid-October 2006. Would definitely stay again. Paid $120 per night (included breakfast) for 3 people (they gave us 2 adjoining rooms). Free WiFi internet access in the lobby.
Typical European hotel. Relatively small room (compared to US) but spacious enough. No A/C. It's on a busy street so open windows brought in street noise - otherwise, no other noise. There is a grocery in the same block for those cost conscious about drinks & snacks. Pigalle and Anvers metro’s are 1 or 2 blocks walks (respectively). 4 block walk to Moulin Rouge or Sacre Coeur). Rooftop patio offers great views of city (see pictures in other reviews.) Breakfast (included) was average for European hotels, included meat & eggs, and was well stocked & continually replenished.
Downsides: Metro lines through Pigalle (lines 2, 12) and Anvers (line 2) don’t go direct to the major attractions – i.e. you will have to change lines or walk a little further.
I found the hotel very nice & a good value. My hotel selection criteria are 1) safe, 2) clean, 3) convenient. Hotel met all these and more. I would definitely stay again.

"Great Little Hotel for the Money!"
This hotel is a little gem.
It isn't fancy & may not impress those looking for a 'chic boutique' experience, however, when I stayed here in February I had a brilliant room (708) with a lovely double bed & a balcony with a view of the Sacre Coeur, which was an unexpected surprise.
My rate included breakfast, which was served in a wonderful period bistro-style interior, complete with mosaic floor & padded banquette seating - all very fin du siecle!
The staff are friendly, the rooms clean & the location really convenient for popping on the bus or metro.
There are great views from the roof terrace (albeit somewhat chilly in February) but definately worth another visit.
NB For the faint-hearted it is worth knowing that you're really close to Pigalle - so if you think your holiday would be ruined by walking past the Moulin Rouge & a fair few neon-lit Sex-Shop fascias then this may not be for you - but really you'd be missing out on a hidden gem.
