Nestled on a hilltop in the Val di Chiana, amid the lush fields of grain, sunflowers, olive groves and vineyards, Casa Bellavista encourages your heart to dream of all things Tuscan.

At Casa Bellavista, you will experience the relaxed rhythm of Tuscan country life while you enjoy the panoramic views of the Abbazia di Farneta, Montepulciano, Lucignano and Cortona, the hill town of 'under
the Tuscan sun'.

Guest rooms are furnished in antiques of the eighteenth to twentieth centuries. Each of our beautifully appointed guest rooms offers a full private bath. The rooms are serviced daily and the linen is changed every three days. A sumptuous buffet breakfast is served in our dining room, with all guests seated around a single table.

LOCATION

Centrally located between Rome and Florence, just off the A1 route, Casa Bellavista provides an ideal location for daytrips to the Tuscan hill towns and cities of Arezzo, Siena, Sansepolcro, Pienza, San Quirico, Montepulciano, San Gimignano and Cortona, as well a Chianti Country.

Casa Bellavista is also a convenient location for daytrips to the Umbrian villages of Assisi and Spello as well as a drive around the majestic Lago Trasimano.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* Dining room:
Breakfast is served in the elegant setting of the dining room. The breakfast is a sumptuous bounty of homemade cakes, homemade jams from our own fruit trees, cheeses, meats and cereals. It is served using the finest silver, porcelain and linens. In the evening, with the warmth of glowing candles, the dining room offers a magical and comfortable ambiance for previously arranged dinners featuring traditional Tuscan dishes.

* Sitting room:
It was created from the original stables of Casa Bellavista. Furnished in vintage antiques, it offers a warm and welcoming area to read or enjoy listening to music. You may sip a 'digestivo' while browsing through Tuscan art and photography books or the many travel brochures available for planning your next day�s adventure.

* The study room:
Situated at the top of the front stairs, the study offers our visitors a quiet place to relax, read or perhaps write a note or letter to friends, sharing the joys of your holiday. On the balcony jasmine, roses and spectacular sunsets await you.

* The garden:
The well-tended garden gives the guests of Casa Bellavista an ideal place to relax, perhaps in one of the hammocks in the pine grove. As you walk around the garden you will stroll among the fruit and olive trees or through open spaces where you can take pleasure in the gently rolling hills. Its peacefulness fosters a feeling of 'benessere' or well-being.

* The swimming pool:
A beautiful swimming pool awaits to refresh you and encourage complete relaxation in the Tuscan sun. You will be soothed by the surrounding mountains, farms, vineyards, and sunflowers.

ROOM AMENITIES

* La camera Rosa:
Opening onto the balcony, La camera Rosa, is a romantic, spacious and accommodating room with views of Montepulciano and Monte Amiata. It is beautifully appointed with antique pieces and a marvelous bed. La camera Rosa has a private bathroom, complete with shower.

* La camera Azzurra:
La camera Azzura is a charming room, furnished with 18th Century antiques. From its window one has a view of the fruit and olive trees and lush farm fields. In the distance you can see the city of Cortona sitting majestically on the hillside across the Val di Chiana. Its large bathroom features double marble sinks and a shower, as well as a large bathtub.

* La camera Verde:
This overlooks the northern garden and views of the Tuscan countryside. The room is nicely furnished with 19th century Tuscan and Liberty antique pieces. The light green colours of the room create a relaxed atmosphere. The large comfortable bed assures a peaceful evening�s rest. The room includes a large bathroom with shower.

* La camera dei Fagiani:
A pleasant room, is located in 'la stufa', the residence of the hosts. It is entered through a corridor offering privacy to guests. Shuttered windows open out to beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. The room is furnished with lovely period antiques and includes a cheerful bathroom with a marble sink and shower.
