Settled in a noble sixteenth-century building...

It was needed a deep rehabilitation before opening as hotel in 1993. Decorator Teresa Mencos was in charge of giving personality to the interiors, highlighting the original constructive elements. By using peacock blue paint in beams and shutters carpentry, typical in eighteenth century asturias palace-style houses; by glazing a sixteenth-century mortar wall-up that can be seen in the noble floor or by increasing the luminosity of the nineteenth-century skirting-board tiles, combining all this with deep white walls at the entry.

Near the triangle formed by Oviedo, Gijón and Avilés, in the confluence of the rivers Nalón and Narcea, surrounded by green mountains and only few minutes far from the beach, Pravia is placed.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* The Works resulted in 30 rooms, 12 of which are arranged around an inner yard. The rest is placed in two attached buildings, recently built up on harmony with the architecture of the main house. Their names pay tribute to Asturian villages and their interior design is an effort to stop time: furniture recovered from antiquaries and auctions, chestnut tree floors, warm colours on the walls and the tissues… An accurate sign of old-times’ lordly but homely spirit.

* Hotel Casona del Busto has a restaurant opened not only to the hotel customers; you’ll be able to enjoy their excellent cuisine in the dinning room located in a luminous yard at the inner of the hotel.
