"Love castelbrando"
I went to the Veneto, outsode if Venice, during the carnival in mid february and frankly was amazed. gone were the high prices, gone the crowds, gone the unpleasant posturing. Instead I found true hospitality, true beauty and the simple things done well.
I stayed at the Hotel Castelbrando, which I booked through a Tour Operator called Carefree Italy. it isn't that I don't book direct but when I do visit an area i am unsure of it helps to use their local knowledge. The hotel was fabulous, big rooms, incredible views, 3 museums, a health and beauty centre, private gardens for hotel guests and a truly outstanding restaurant. I used it as a base while I visited the local cantinas for the prosecco and can heartily recommend it. Their service was impeccable, the hospitality without question. If you use Carefree like me speak to Alex, he's been there too!

"Great place"
We had a very rice time.The food was egg(fried rice)cellent and the service was wan tonderful.
Joking aside It was lovely and i throughly recommend it.
