Castellani Parkhotel Salzburg was excellent and although we only stayed 1 night it left a lasting impression on us and we will visit again should we go back to Saltzburg

"breakfast was fantastic"
Castellani Parkhotel Salzburg breakfast was fantastic. We also enjoyed the New Years Buffet. The room was clean and was spacious. Location was convienent. There were no english speaking channels on the TV and we would have liked to rent a movie on the TV at night, but it was not an option. The shower was not comfortable and the shower head sprayed the bathroom door and made the whole bathroom wet when you turned it on.

10 of us stayed here in August. I disagree with previous postings saying the staff was not helpful. I found the staff very polite and accommodating. The rooms and bathrooms were modern, spotless, and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, and very nicely displayed. I would recommend this location to anyone and would stay there again. Did not mind the 15 minute walk to the historic area of Salzburg.

We loved our stay at this hotel- from breakfast on the sunny terrace to the big rooms and excellent service. It was a little out of the centre of the city- but in walking distance.

"Wonderful hotel"
The Castellani is ideal for couples looking for a romantic break. We went for our 22nd anniversary. It's located approx 10 mins walk from the Old Town; the buffet breakfast is amazing (you won't need lunch!); really comfortable beds; excellent and very reasonably priced food in both restaurants, and we loved having a drink on the terrace in the evening. Use of the fitness/steam room and solarium were all included in the price. Wonderful!! Can't fault this hotel at all, we would definitely return.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during October 2005. The hotel was wonderful, my wife even liked it and she is very difficult to satisy with hotels. We were on a three week European tour and this one so far was by far the nicest. They have a great breakfast, the service is good and they speak good English. It is located very close to Old Town Salzburg. I would recommend this hotel highly.
