La Cave Wine Cellar and Pizzeria occupies the basement of the former palace of the influential Capitano Giacomo de Robertis, who was in the employ of the Knights of Malta. It later passed into the possession of some of the leading Maltese families including the Testaferrata and the de Sain families.
* De Robertis Restaurant
De Robertis Restaurant occupies the terrace of the former palace formerly Known as Palazzo Xara, presently housing the Hotel Castille, that belonged to Capitano Giacomo De Robertis. The building itself was built at the turn of the XVI century by a renowed Maltese Architect.
* The facilities that the hotel provides include a 24-hour reception, a delightful coffee shop which formerly housed the stables. There is a comfortable sitting room, television room, and also reading lounges on every floor. |
