Catalonia Oro Negro has a central but quiet location situated in the cosmopolitan area of Playa de las Americas, only a few minutes from Play de Las America beach and the resort centre with bars, restaurants, shops and vibrant nightlife. It is also close to Tenerife city centre were a visit to the hermitage of San Antonia Abad, built in the 17th century is a must. This hotel is well located and only 17km from the airport. The hotel offers 269 rooms distributed on 11 floors. Built in 1978 and refurbished in 1995 all rooms have modern facilities including a personal bathroom/shower, telephone, television, safety deposit box, radio and hair dryer. Each room has great views of Tenerife with a private balcony or terrace. The hotel facilities cater to the most refined guests, both adult and children. Catalonia Oro Negro offers a swimming pool for adults, children's swimming pool, children's playground, large terrace, solarium with hammocks, hairdressers and beauty salon, table football, table tennis, miniature golf, volleyball and billiards, private gardens, pool bar with live shows, breakfast buffet restaurant with bread and pastry oven, show cooking during dinner and a panoramic elevator. As well as a laundry and dry cleaning service, car rental facilities and if all the leisure attractions at the hotel are not enough then there is a popular local leisure centre and Las Americas golf club only minutes away.
