"Just spent a great week at this hotel"
I was very dubious about spending a week at this hotel having read some of the negative reviews but I'm so glad we went. Our room was really nice, 2 x 4' beds, really comfy, sheets changed twice in one week, air con and a huge ceiling fan. Bathroom complete with bidet and great pressure in the shower, always loads of hot water. Several lifts, all working. We were on the 7th floor, room 714, lovely view over the pools out to sea. Nice gardens with waterfalls and lots of benches. Food was good, we had some really tasty desserts, gateaux etc. Salads always crisp, fruit sometimes looked a bit second hand but tasted great, especially the oranges. Staff were all very helpful, polite and accomodating. The pic nics were massive, enough in one to feed two people, a bit of a pain to carry round some of the excursions. This hotel is a great base, car hire in the hotel and loads outside. We were impressed with how clean everywhere was, maintenance men and cleaners always working. This hotel was definately worth the money and we would stay again.

"Super value"
All-in-all excellent value for money - food readily available and good quality (roast beef and yorkshire not available but egg & bacon for breakfast)). The (free) red wine was terrible but the rose was OK. Staff generally very friendly, place was adequately clean. Room large and reasonably comfortable. Smoking only allowed on room balcony or poolside bar area. Despite the size (400 rooms ?) not too noisy or crowded (but it was the week before Easter). Largely English and German guests, with a few Spanish and French. A good location for a touring base for the island, but not for a seaside holiday - local beach and other amenities a bit lacking, but a good bus service to Santa Cruz, On-street parking for the hire car not so good. Approx an hours drive from the airport, Los Christianos, the Orotava valley. The only issue with our holiday was the outbound flight - 5 hours in non-reclining seats thanks to GB Airways

"Well worth a visit"
Read the reviews and was a wee bit apprehensive. DONT BE ! This hotel offers great accomodation and entertainment. I must admit, although the food was very good and the menu varied, it was sometimes a bit cold. Nevertheless, this hotel is well run, staff are very polite and nothing bad to report. No hesitation in going back.

"Great holiday"
Like other folk, had read the reviews before going (and after booking) and was dreading what we were in for. The hotel however, was fantastic. Not really near anything but that suited us, the food was good and there was plenty to keep us occupied. In fact, the week wasn't long enough. My 9 year old son had a great time, playing in the pool and playing crazy golf, pool etc. and going up for pizza whenever he liked. Would go back tomorrow.
