"Good Location" Excellent location just off the top end of La Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya right in the heart of the city and many local attractions. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was powerful and cold, nothing like coming back to a cool room after a walk in the hot August Barcelona heat. Average bathroom .Facilities included TV, no minibar. The hotel did not have a breakfast room, breakfast vouchers were provided every morning and breakfast was served in a Café just across the hotel. The ‘tiny’ breakfast consisted of 3 pastries, coffee and juice. Refurbishment works were ongoing on the first floor and the lift was mostly out of order. This made the climb to our room on the third floor an uphill task indeed. Hotel staff were just doing their jobs and not very friendly. Great location to all major attractions on Las Ramblas and Catalunya metro station was a short walk away. Cortes ingles, the big Spanish department store was just round the corner. The Tourist information centre and the ‘ bus turistic ‘ stops were close by too. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to fellow travelers.
