"Good Choice"
I stayed here for two months on the recommendation of a Thai. Having stayed in bkk many times, I was somewhat apprehensive. However, I was extremely satisfied.
The hotel sits down a darkened street off Sukhumvit. Arriving there at night I thought to myself there is no way I would walk that street at night. During my stay I ended up walking it many times and never had a hint of a problem. There is also a tuk-tuk service from the hotel that runs every 5 minutes.
The staff there are superb! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was beyond what I had expected. Free internet access in the room with a separate area, small balcony to sit, full kitchen ( even has it's own washer/dryer built in), terrific whirlpool bath and separate shower, and plenty of storage areas.
Housekeeping kept the room immaculate. The biggest drawback is that it's on the wrong side of Sukhumvit. The taxis have to drive quite far before there is a turn around for them to go the other way. Some won't do it! They just drop you off and let you figure out how to get there....not really a big problem though.
It has all the ammenities, pool, gym, restaurant, beauty salon, quick-mart, but they all close down by 10pm.
