"Luxury for a bargain!"
We decided to opt for a bit of luxury as we heard absolute horror stories of doing Bangkok on a budget, and we were not disappointed. The staff were helpful, the hotel was clean, the swimming pool and gym were great and the buffet breakfast was amazing!!!! We decided to stay again on our return trip, and they upgraded us to the executive floor because we were repeat business! Perfect. (Just make sure you get down early for breakfast because at 10am on the dot they ring a bell and all the food has been cleared away in 5 minutes flat!!)

"Great Hotel"
Stayed here for 3 nights. Fantastic Hotel. Superb Value. Rooms were spacious and within the City Centre. Food was excellent and catered for most palates. Especially like the hotel pool on the 15th floor I think. Great views right across the city.

"Great Hotel, Great Staff"
We stayed at this hotel August 18-22nd and were extremely happy with all this place has to offer. Our room on the 20th floor, had great views of the city and was extremely spacious and clean and the king size bed was super comfortable. The pool complex on the 5th floor was a welcome retreat after a long hard days shopping. The staff were faultless and particular thanks to Fah for all the help she gave us. The large MBK shopping centre is only an 80 baht Taxi ride and Prathunum Markets are a 10 minute walk. The buffet breakfast selection is overwhelming and the service is A1. The extensive buffet dinner selection was also very good and the only negative was some of the 'hot' dishes were somewhat cold. We will definately stay again and thoroughly recommend to all age groups.

"Excellent Hotel"
We stayed at the Century Park Hotel in January 2007 for 1 night. We booked the Executive Deluxe Room. Room and Property: The property is a high rise building. The executive deluxe rooms were on the top floor of the building and had a great view of the city. The room was very nicely furnished with a marble bathroom. We were treated like VIP there. They had a separate lounge area for the executive guests where they had beverages, snacks, and a staff member to help with any questions you may have. Service: we had excellent service. The staff were very courteous and prompt with all our requests. The concierge were able to answer all our questions and fulfill our requests to our satisfaction. Dining: there are a few restaurants within the hotel. We ate at the italian restaurant. The food was good, but I felt it was a little overpriced. Location: it took about 10 minutes to walk to the SkyTrain station. They also had shuttles that took you to the station 2 times a day, but we wanted to walk.

"Great hotel, great value!"
I loved this hotel. I stayed here on my return to Bangkok after travelling the islands and Cambodia. I booked a grande deluxe room as it was the end of my holiday. I found this hotel to be great value for money and very comfortable. It was exceptionally clean and the staff were courteous and helpful at all times. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the BTS station, but the walk was not too bad. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a bit of luxury after spending months in beach huts and cheaper hotels. I loved it.

"Great Honeymoon and loved it"
This originally started out to be a birthday present but it was two fold. Just prior to going out to Bangkok my partner and I had a Civil Partnership and the holiday turned into our Honeymoon. We arrived at the hotel in the early evening the greeting was lovely by the staff you could not have expected better from a 5 start hotel (which in our view it is) The check in was fast and the bell hop beat us to our room on the 19th floor marvellous view very comforable clean and well laid out (the americans that write poor reviews should look at thier own country first) As far as we were concerned it was central if you look at Bangkok where is the centre? We normally bought a day pass (120 Bhats) on the sky train and in conjunction with the water taxi (13 or 19 Bhats)we got to everywhere we wanted to go. The Skytrain is about 10 minute walk and is quite accessable. We booked our trip through Tradewinds it included airport transfers where we were met by the Tour East rep who were very good, they had a desk in the hotel where they attended everyday. We booked trips through Tour East to the River Kawi and a dinner cruise on the river. The dinner cruise is a must including an unlimited buffet. Dont miss the Grand Palace you can do this on your own. The night market is good but you must barter go to under half the price they ask and when you think you have the price you want to pay and they still say no say it is your final price and start to walk away and most times they will call you back at that price. For the gay folk Soi 4 we found was the best place for the scene, the Telephone bar is great and the waiters are nice. We got very disappointed with Richards Bar Jim one of the owners loves to play mine host, if something goes wrong he disappears off the scene and does not want to know, if we go back that is one place we will give a miss. Watch the boys in the gay massage places they are nearly all offering extra services, the straight places offer a good service and you know that you will only be offered a massage and nothing else. Not a lot of eating places around the hotel Siam Square (third stop on the Skytrain) is good also Soi Palpong 2 (change at Siam Square and then Second stop Sala Daeng) A night market is in Soi Palpong 1. Well thats our experence of Bangkok yes we would go back again and yes we would stay at the Century Park a great hotel with lovely helpful staff. If we can be of any help to anyone going to Bangkok please

"Fantastic hotel"
We stayed at the hotel in June 2006 and could not rate it more highly. There were 6 people travelling and we all felt the quality was amazing and for such a low price. The rooms were large with king size beds. The marble bathrooms were the nicest and cleanest I had ever used. There was not a trace of any mould or dirt to be seen which is unusual as even 5 star hotels have this. The buffet breakfast was good with plenty of variety. There is a lot of choice for food and drink in the hotel. Our favourite was the sports bar where we sat around one night having a few drinks and dinner. Made the mistake of ordering hamburgers and would not do that again. Better off sticking to Thai food as they do this so well. They have a pool table and this allowed an opportunity to have a lot of fun in a relaxed casual atmosphere that not a lot of city hotels cater for. There is a coffee shop in the lobby that serves delicious cakes. It is further out but as most of our time was spent doing trips outside the city this was not a problem. We did arrange a mini bus to take us into town to shop and it was so cheap. We are returning to Thailand in July this year and have rebooked a few nights at the Century Park. Could not recommend it strongly enough.

"Ideal Location"
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, we only needed a room for a base while we expolored Bangkok. The hotel had all the facilities (pool, gym etc) if we wanted them but we didn't have time. The hotel is idealy situated in the Sukumvit area which is young and trendy with lots going on at night with good bars and restaurants. It depends what you want to see, it isn't near to the river or palaces but we weren't that bothered as it is so cheap to get around by taxi or tuk tuk. The rooms were really nice and clean and had a large bathroom with speparate shower and bath. The staff were really friendly and helpful but then all people in Thailand are.
