"Perfect location" A group of us returned from a couple of days in Prague on Saturday. We had a fabulous time. The hotel couldn't have been in a better location. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you get the option, ask for a room on the third floor as you get a fantastic view across the rooftops and to the palace area, which at night is lit up and looks stunning. Would return to this hotel and would recommend to my friends.

"Worth a Look - Superb Location" A lovely independently run hotel (like the majority in Prague). As in many hotels the price varies wildly between the seasons - so check direct with the hotel before booking those cheap flights! We've stayed here 3 times now & have found the staff very friendly & helpful - always happy to assist & make bookings for you. The place is spotlessly clean & the rooms pleasant. Some are smaller than others (pot luck) but all have storage, table, chairs, drinks facilities. Superb buffet breakfast - loads of choice & the option to have the chef cook hot breakfasts.

"charming hotel in great location" This is a great find! Location is unbelievable, at the foot of the Charles Bridge in Lesser Town, 5-10 minute walk to anywhere. Small hotel with some quaintness and charm. If you can't afford the ultimate in charm this is an affordable option with a dynamite location. Staff were friendly, breakfast was yum. All the rooms have good views. On one side the rooms face the bridge, on the other, the castle (very pretty at night). And, even with its central location, it was on a quiet street.

"Exquisite" My husband and I stayed at the Certovka on our third visit to Prague,we had the most wonderful time. The hotel staff were freindly, the rooms were spacious,the veiws were wonderful looking out over the Valta towards the National Theatre at night was really special especially as it snowed for three days out of four while we were there. The best breakfasts we have had during all of of stays in Prague were to be found at the Certovka especially the pancakes. We have booked to take all of our grown up children and their partners over to spend Christmas in Prague and guess where we are staying.

"Hidden Gem!" A small hotel in a great location. Just below the western end of the Charles Bridge in the 'Little Quarter' of Mlana Strana. Just across from Kampa Island. So is an excellent base for Prague Castle and the Old Town. They are both within walking distance for the reasonably fit! Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Bookings only for Bed and Breakfast, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area.

"Perfect Stay" Just got back from a four night stay at Certovka. It was a very quaint hotel. Rooms were great, not luxury but all you need. Ask for a room witha a bathtub. Ours faced the castle and had a view of the Charles Bridge. Was nice and warm after a cold day. Very happy to be in the less touristy section, but there were plenty of restaraunts near by. Staff was great. All requests were honored. Full breakfast is included.
