The hotel is only an around 10-minute walk from the centre of Banff and public transport. It is situated on a main road. Various bars, pubs, restaurants and nightclubs are just 50 metres away. A bus station as well as a train station are only around 1 km away and the nearest ski area is around 5 km away. Cross-country ski areas are located in the surrounding area. Canmore is located roughly 20 km from the hotel. The cable car and Banff Hot Springs are only a 15-minute drive and the Canadian Icefields are around 95 minutes away by car.

This makes it a perfect Rocky Mountain retreat. Renovated in 2006, this 3-storey hotel features a terrace as well as a total of 57 rooms, including 19 junior suites and 19 suites.
