"Great HOTEL."
This exclusive apartment HOTEL is in the embassy area of
Bangkok and within walking distance of shopping malls, great restaurants and top nightclubs with live music.
Club 87 is 3 minutes across the Chateau in nearby Conrad
Hotel.
SPASSO is also a great hangout in Grand hyatt at Erawan. minutes with a taxi. The Suam Lum night Bazaar, siam square
and much more is nearby. This Hotel has nice rooftop swimming pool with a great view. All your looking for to be pampered is on the premises or nearby.

when we finally got into the room it had the deffinate wow factor we booked the penthouse suite on the top floor and over 2 floors it was fantastic bigger than my house in the uk , the location was ideal a skytrain stop at the top of the road and lumpini market about 15 mins walk where we went most nights to sit and relax and listen to music , if you have the money try to book the penthouse suite you wont be disappointed

"Home from home"
The Chateau is a nice hotel located about 5 minutes walk from the Phloen Chit skytrain station, on a side street. If coming from the airport, the best way to get there is by meter taxi, for which you would expect to pay no more than 300 Baht, which includes the expressway toll, and airport charge (65 + 50 Bht respectively). Because it is not so well known, if the taxi driver has any problem, then ask him to take you to the Conrad (on Wireless rd), and follow the hotel road to the ballroom at the back, where it will exit onto Ruam Rudi right opposite the entrance to the Chateau de Bangkok.
The rooms are really more serviced suites of varying degrees of luxury, however all include a small kitchen area, sink, and refrigerator. However, the rest of the hotel bears all similarities to a hotel itself, but with the advantage of a 24 hour shop next to reception, meaning you can cook yourself something whenever you feel like. The staff are always friendly and “guests” seem allowed back to the rooms without any extra charge.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable, ample size, and all feature a large bathtub, some with Jacuzzi jets aswell. The beds are comfortable, and the TV has a range of international channels. With regard to cost, we made a reservation with the hotel directly, at a cost of around 3200 Baht all in, incl breakfast for 2. This may not be the cheapest in Bangkok, but I believe represents great value for money over what you would pay at the more well known brands of hotel. You also have the benefit that the hotel feels very homely and you soon get the know the staff personally.
The hotel does lack a bar as such, although drinks can be taken in the reception area. However it does have a nice rooftop pool, and a fitness club which includes both sauna and steam room, as well as a few modern exercise machines.
Outside the hotel, if you walk to the right, there is a small parade of shops which include some restaurants, a massage/fitness club, and some bars. I have tried the Witches bar twice now, but always leave feeling ripped off on the drink prices, and the advertised WiFi failed to connect, so I would give that a miss.

"Excellent hotel in Bangkok"
Chateau de Bangkok was a wonderful hotel. The staff was great. They were always friendly, hospitable, and always available. The attention was like first class, always friendly, and very helpful. The rooms are “apartments-style” with a small kitchen and a living room. Our room was impeccably clean and very spacious with a modern and contemporary style. Our room was huge and even included a walk-in closet and a huge bathroom. The room also included a bathrobe and slippers for the guest’s comfort. The bathroom amenities were my favorite part. It was very spacious, great decoration, granite counter tops, and a Jacuzzi bath tub. The location was also great. The hotel is located in the business and commercial district of Bangkok. The location was near Bangkok’s major malls and walk-in distances from the embassies. The hotel is located right across Conrad, which has a mini mall in the 1st level with many restaurants, Starbucks, and a supermarket. The hotel is located in a good and secure area and about ¼ mile away from the sky train station. Having a sky train station near the hotel allowed us to move around the city faster since the traffic is pretty bad and you can move faster in the sky train than in a taxi or tuk-tuk. The pool was awesome too as it gives you a nice view of the Bangkok’s business area. The hotel rate was excellent. Definitely an excellent value for the money. The only drawbacks were having no clock in the room and the bed was too hard that I felt as if I was sleeping in the floor.
Suggestions: There is a really nice Thai restaurant in the same street as the hotel called Baan Khanitha. The restaurant has a high demand especially on the weekends so reservations are recommended. There also a great and renowned spa at a walking distance from the hotel called “Spa 1930” which I highly recommend.
