"The most amazing Hotel I ever stayed"
I still cannot find the word to describe the amazing experience I had in this hotel in the month of June 2007.
A fantastic services, staff are kind, devoted to help the guest a 100% customer satisfaction characterized this hotel.
My wife and I booked our wedding celebration there, from start to end each details were thought after, the organization, the food, the drink, the ceremony on the beach, the photographer, the hairdresser and make up team were absolutely amazing. The master of ceremony coordinating all aspect was also the sales manager , an amazing guy called Tony, a great thanks to him and his team.
The beach are amazing and we stayed in this beach villa with a fantastic setting, great interior room and a lot of attention to details. The secular place made the Chedi the place to relax among the natural landscape of Puket, the place is hilly and some walking are needed so make sure you book a room close to the beach it is worth it ... to reach the nearest city the motorbike is the best there are also some nice restaurant around, although staying in the hotel caters the guest with an amazing food and diversity.
My wife describe the concept of the hotel as an organic hotel a new concept in the travel industry to describe this hotel that imerge inself in the Thai nature.

"Quite excellent!"
The Chedi is beautifully situated on it's own private beach not too far up the west coast from Patong Beach. The reception and pool area are nicely set out and open and have a contemporary, yet quite traditional design.
The cottages themselves are quite spread out, from right on the beach to up a fairly steep hillside. Fortunately the cottage we were in was close to the beach and the pool / reception area but it seems worth paying the premium for the convenience and better views, plus the wonderful sunsets! The cottage we had was quite spacious and was very pleasant, dark wood and pale walls with a well appointed bathroom. Satellite TV if you must...
We ate the restaurant on a number of evenings and the quality of the food was really rather good. The location was superb with a view over the pool below, the beach just past that and the sun going down into the Andaman Sea in the evening! We did also eat at a restaurant that was a short walk away just for a change of scenery.
The beach is very quiet, and the Chedi only takes up a small part of it. I was led to believe another small resort was situated at the other end of the beach but nevertheless it was extremely quiet.
In terms of leisure facilities there was a tennis court which we used a number of times but that was about it. Am sure the hotel staff would be willing to help out but on holiday I wasn't bothered much beyond tennis!
We did drive through Patong Beach but to be honest it isn't worth it, after the laid back feeling of the Chedi it was a bit much.
We stayed at the Chedi for ten days and felt that a week would have been just right. |

"Great Experience"
Wonderful hotel. Great the location on a hillside overlooking a beautiful semi-private Pansea beach (the only other hotel on the beach is the suprt-pricey Amanpuri). The designers of the hotel done a great job blending the resort into the surroundings by retaining much of the tree cover. When viewed from the ocean, the resort is barely visible. The rooms are simply fusnished, but still very classy.
Absolutely night and day compared to Patong. This is definitely not the place to go if you are looking for a non-stop party. However, it is absolutely the place to go if you are looking for a sophisticated and relaxing resort that retains the feel of what makes Thailand special.
