"A Wonderful Experience"
Stayed here for 3 nights in Oct for our anniversary. Found it cheaper on the internet than booking direct, and gratefully received an upgrade after being cheeky and asking the hotel for one!The deluxe room looked onto the main street and the noise from shoppers was hardly noticeable. It does have to be noted that late at night there was some noise from drunken youngsters.Obviously this was no fault of the hotel-just the drinking culture we've come to know so well in the UK and the price paid for being central. It didn't spoil the stay at all.
The staff were attentive without being intrusive and dining in La Brasserie can be recommended.
A great hotel providing a great base for seeing Wales and the uniqueness of Chester itself. We will return in the future.

"incredible venue"
We stayed at this lovely hotel recently. What a refreshing change from most of the mediocre hotels who call themselves five-star. This one really is! The entire experience from the moment you step out of your car in the free carparking facility attached to the hotel is one of refined, old fashioned (in the best sense) luxury service. It is quite expensive as you might expect but we got our room nearly £100 cheaper by booking at Superbreak.
The rooms are lovely, the facilities and service superb, the staff helpful, polished and professional, and the food great. Also, it's slap bang in the middle of this gorgeous old town, so very well placed for great shopping!
What more can I say - I wouldn't look any further.
