Ok but a bit worn
the room was ok, but a little worn, stains on the carpet, but nothing too serious. Bed was pull out sofa, basic but ok. having kitchen was great, why pay £9 for a roll in reception when you can walk to nearby tesco and buy a week's worth of breakfast goodies for less than £5! Location is terrific, tube 50 mtrs, Trafalgar Square 50mtrs. All in all good value but Citadines don't be mean and give the place a coat of paint! |

"would stay here again because of the location"
Citadines Trafalgar Square Hotel location was perfect and many of the tourist sights were within walking distance so we saved quite a bit on travel and travel fares. On a weekend visit you do not spend much time in the hotel, but I would stay here again because of the location.

"The location really can’t be beat"
Citadines Trafalgar Square Hotel is a bit worn but nothing that was unbearable. I spent a week there with my partner and my parents (both 70 years old). We rented a one bedroom apartment and it was more than enough space for the four of us. The location really can’t be beat- right in the middle of things. You can walk everywhere in less than 20 minutes! It’s central location makes it an easy stop off point if you want a quick break during the day. I hope to get to London again soon and will stay here again.

"Super spot"
My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend in October, 2005, and will definitely return. This is the third time we have stayed in a 'Citadines', twice in Paris and now London. We like the whole concept of self-catering and the facilities for so doing are excellent here, there is everything you would possibly need. The location could not be better as most of the major attractions are within a few minutes walk of the hotel. We did not need to consult the staff very often but always found them very helpful and courteous. There is a small Tesco convenience store very close to the hotel but you really need to go a little further for a broader range of goods. There is a much bigger Tesco near Picadilly Circus and a good Sainsbury's along Picadilly. I would gladly recommend this Citadines to anyone.

"Wonderful Surprise!!"
What a wonderful surprise!!! The location is AMAZING!!! You are literally a 2 minutes walk from Trafalgar Square – hard to beat that. The price was pretty amazing as well - very reasonable. My bedroom was great – with a nice view and it was very clean. I was a little bit concern about the sofa-bed, but do not be - it was great, comfortable and big – although I found a little tricky and heavy to open by myself, but if you have too much trouble the hotel staff will be glad to help you. Check-in and check-out was fast which I really appreciated. I had a great time at the Citadines and definitely will stay there again on my next trip to London.

"Great location & friendly service - some tips for you"
After having read the reviews I was skeptical that the service would be anything but spartan, quite the contrary - we had helpful people at the front desk that showed us how to get places. Also free Wifi access while you are staying is great.
Breakfast - avoid the 9 pound per person breakfast and venture right towards Traflagar Square, when you get to the square look right and you will see a Cafe - my wife and I were able to get a full English breakfast there from a nice guy for 5 pounds each.
Pharmacy - is located towards Trafalgar Square and then right - you will see it on the right, it's called "Boots"
You simply cannot beat this location, it has everything right at our doorstep, for the price the room is simply unbeatable and will even do for upscale travellers.
