Hotel City Crown is a family run hotel located in Zizkov district of Prague. The area features plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes as well as remarkable sights such as the Zizkov Television Tower and the New Jewish cemetery where Franz Kafka is buried. Hotel City Crown is also very convenint to public transportation.

LOCATION

Hotel City Crown is located on Borivojova Street in Zizkov, near the Television Tower and also within close proximity of the major tourist sights in the historic centre of Prague. Zizkov Television Tower is approximately 300 metres (0,2 mile) away and it features an elegant restaurant with magnificent views of the Prague skyline. The Jewish Cemetery where the famous novelist Franz Kafka is buried and a huge equestrian statue of Jan Zizka who was a Czech general lived in the 14th and 15th centuries are located within close walking distance of Hotel City Crown as well.

Wenceslas Square is about 1,4 kilometres (0,87 mile) from the hotel and you can reach here in 15�20 minutes on foot or in 7 minutes by taking tram no. 9 from Husinecka tram station. Wenceslas Square is the commercial centre of the New Town featuring numerous entertainment, dining and shopping options. The Prague National Museum and the Prague State Opera are located here as well.

The Old Town Square (Stare Mesto) is five minutes walking distance from Wenceslas Square and it is surrounded by wonderful buildings such as the Church of Our Lady in front of Tyn, the St. Nicholas Church and the Old Town Hall and Tower. The famous Astronomical Clock is mounted on the wall of the Old Town Hall while a statue of Jan Hus stands in the middle of the square.

The closest public transport link is Husinecka tram station, situated near Viktoria Stadium, about 300 metres (0,2 mile) to Hotel City Crown. You can easily reach the hotel from Prague Ruzyne Airport in 45 minutes: Take bus no. 119 to Dejvicka, transfer here to metro line A to Mustek, walk about 3 minutes to Vaclavske Namesti and get on tram no. 9 to Husinecka.
