very helpful staff As a volleyball team, we stayed at this hotel because of a volleyball tournament taking place in Bratislava. We came to hotel at all hours of the day, drunk but never heard of a complaint from the helpful staff. However, the tram stop is about ten minutes walk away which might be inconvenient at winter. 3.0

Good value I and my boyfriend decided to travel to Bratislava before for holiday, but we were so late for booking. Finding avaliable room in City Hotel Bratislava with a good deal was a real chance for us, while this hotel is a good value hotel with a friendly staff. City Hotel Bratislava is a little bit far from the historical city centre but doesn't matter, tube station is just ten minutes walking distance. 3.6

"Low price-Super room (Billig-Super Zimmer)" Wir haben leider nur eine nacht im hotel übernachtet aber das hotel war wirklich super! für so wenig geld so einen "luxus" zu kriegen ist wirklich viel! Bevor ich hingefahren bin habe ich auch vieles negatives über das hotel gelesen aber jetzt bin ich überzeugt dass das alles nicht stimmt. ich habs selber erfahren dürfen und diesen luxus geniessen können. die zimmer sind mit wc,badewanne,tücher,tv,radio ausgestattet. frühstück ist inkludiert und da hat man einen großen auswahl. die rezeptionisten waren auch gan nett und haben uns geholfen wenn wir fragen gehabt haben. einfach super !! das hotel ist auch leicht mit verscheidene öffentlich verkehrsmittel zu erreichen, man muss nur bissl auf die karte schauen und mitdenken=) und dann passt alles! ich kanns nur weiter empfehlen!! lg

"Group of younger travellers" Having seen the bad reviews that this hotel has gotten we felt quite obligated to respond. We are a group of younger people travelling every year to a new "cheap" country in search of ... culture (e.g. beers, women etc.). On this paricular trip there were 14 of us partying our way across the lengt and width of Bratislava and we where not the only ones. It seems u can't go too many places in this city without running into a group of english people celebrating someone who's soon to be married. I imagine other hotel guests and the staff itself must have felt our precense in one way or another. Coming home at all hours of the day, drunk, with one or more women aso. We never heard any complaints from an always helpful staff. They even made breakfast to go when 13 of us came in the last morning at 6 am. with one hour to pack and then of to the airport (One guy chose to stay an extra day...). The rooms, bar, restaurant and in particular the in-house stripjoint will have no complaints from us either. A great experience staying with friendly people in a quiet neighbourghood.
