"A great hotel in a great location"
Just returned from a stay at the Pilvax. First thing to say is that the location is superb, both for shopping on Vaci Utca and exploring the back streets. Close to many of the main sights, and a ten minute walk to the river. The staff were welcoming,friendly and helpful, and all spoke good English.The meal we had there was excellent. Top tip: coffee and palinka by the Danube in the evening, after a wonderful meal, with all the major sights illuminated in front of you. Would definitely stay there again |

"Could not get a better location!"
The hotel Pilvax helped make my recent week in Budapest unexpectedly fantastic. They were not wrong about their location and where the hotel is located allowed me the best access to the entire city. The breakfast was excellent and the beds were small but comfortable. Clean rooms. Definately the best value for the price!

"Great value Hotel"
We stayed here for 5 days in January and the hotel lived up to all of our expectations, it was clean, comfortable, close to the main pedestrian area, close to metro and river. We were able to walk virtually everywhere and when we did take public transport it was very easy and convenienant. It was very good value for money and we would definately recommend it to friends or stay there ourselves again if we were to return to Budapest.
